ABUJA – Toyosola Amuludun, Creative Director of TASUEDFinest, has highlighted the significance of the third edition of the TASUED Colour Festival, noting that it not only celebrates youth culture but also contributes to economic growth in Ogun State.

Scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 6 May to Thursday, 8 May 2025, the festival—aptly themed ‘Colour Explosion’—will be held at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).

Speaking to journalists on Thursday, Amuludun explained that the three-day event will kick off with vibrant activities such as colour splashes, powder parties, DJ sets, and dance circles.

The second day, he noted, will spotlight cultural displays, including traditional attire and indigenous dances, while the final day will culminate in a costume showcase.

A major highlight of the festival is the Mega Trade Fair, which will provide a platform for local businesses, student entrepreneurs, and vendors to connect, network, and promote their products. The fair is expected to stimulate economic activity by attracting a youthful and dynamic audience.

Amuludun emphasised the festival’s role as a vital platform for youth expression and cultural celebration.

“The TASUED Colour Festival 3.0 is more than just an event — it’s a platform for young people to explore their identities, celebrate their roots, and showcase their talents,” he said.

He noted that the festival has grown in popularity since its inception, with previous editions attracting significant participation. This year’s edition will also feature guest appearances, pop-up exhibitions, and an awards ceremony recognising campus influencers.

Amuludun called on stakeholders to get involved, highlighting the festival’s potential to foster unity and stimulate economic engagement. He reiterated that the event remains a key cultural and economic initiative within Ogun State.
